We had a lot of unexpected things happen on our trip.
* We travelled an hour out of our way to a ski place only to have them close the lifts as soon as we got there.
* Julianna got the flu :(
* Our travel DVD player got too cold and it was destroyed
* We almost got stuck overnight on the way home in LaGrande (or La Suck according to Erin)
* Instead we got stuck in Pendleton

Question: Ever had a puking infant in a house full of oriental rugs and antiques?? In case you were wondering, it makes your life flash before your eyes and your heart race.
Despite the Lows mentioned above, we had a nice trip and it was good to see my overworked husband relax somewhat. Although, missing an additional day of work probably didn't help with the relaxing. The boys had a great time! They loved playing with their cousins and we loved visiting with the adults.
Highs for me: Adult conversation and no cooking or cleaning (except puke).
